JAXBEACH: The SpringHill Suites by Marriott is now open. Jacksonville Beach newest Oceanfront hotel and its own restaurant.
The 156-suite hotel is operated by Shaner Hotels and owned by Key International. “The SpringHill Suites by Marriott Jacksonville Beach Oceanfront marks our fifth hotel in the Jacksonville area, immediately creating economies of scale and the ability to share best practices with our sister properties,” Jeff Truhlar, regional vice president of operations, Shaner Hotels, said in a news release.
According to a press release, the SpringHill Suites is conveniently located in the central business district of Jacksonville Beach, right next to the Jacksonville Beach Pier. This prime location makes it easy for guests to access a wide variety of restaurants, shops, and nightlife in the area.
The hotel has its own restaurant called Sandbar Jax Bch which is open to the public. It offers outdoor dining, craft cocktails, and a menu that is inspired by the local cuisine. Shawn Gracey, the executive vice president of hospitality at Key International, said that Jacksonville Beach has been experiencing an unprecedented growth in tourism and they are excited to meet the demand for a new beachfront hotel with state-of-the-art facilities.
Shaner Hotels, a hotel owner-operator based in State College, Pennsylvania, operates the SpringHill Suites.
