The staging, a critical component of the show’s visual narrative, also disappoints. The once vibrant and visible orchestra is now relegated to a smaller band in the pit, with the upper half of the stage left empty and unutilized. This stark contrast to the New York staging diminishes the show’s visual appeal.

Moreover, despite their individual talents, the cast fails to convey a sense of close-knit camaraderie essential to the storyline. This lack of perceived intimacy among the characters detracts significantly from the overall impact of the performance.
