Florida Georgia Game of events 2022

Jacksonville, Fl — The 89-year tradition returns to Jacksonville this weekend, as #1 Georgia takes on Florida at TIAA Bank Field. Themed, The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.

History: The Georgia-Florida football rivalry is a yearly college football game between the University of Florida and the University of Georgia. It started in the early 1900s, and it has been played every season since 1926. The annual game is one of the most prominent in college football, and it’s been held in Jacksonville, FL, since 1933.

Tuesday the 25th, tailgating begins with the opening of RV City.

Thursday the 27th is Duuuval's Bold City Bash. The ultimate Georgia-Florida fan experience.

The Bash encompasses nearly a week of fan-centric interactive events that celebrate the tradition and excellence of one of the SEC’s biggest rivalries that have called Jacksonville home since 1933.

Friday the 28th is the Georgia-Florida Hall of Fame induction ceremony and luncheon. Inductees are Georgia’s John Little and Champ Bailey, and Florida’s Andre Caldwell and Trey Burton.

Then at 6:30 pm is the Dawgs vs. Gators fall exhibition baseball game at 121 Financial Ballpark.

Saturday the 29th, the fan tailgate begins at Duval’s Bold City Bash Fan Fare at Daily’s Place Flex Field hours before kickoff at 3:30 pm on CBS 47.
