The information includes the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Publisher\u2019s Wikipedia page (if any)<\/li>\n<li>Related articles<\/li>\n<li>Amount of times people shared the article on Facebook<\/li>\n<li>Location of shares<\/li>\n<li>Option to follow the publisher\u2019s page<\/li>\n<li>More stories by the publisher<b>,<\/b>&nbsp;which will give people a quick snapshot of the other recent stories posted by the publisher<\/li>\n<li>Friends who shared the article<b>,<\/b>&nbsp;which will show people any of their friends who have shared the article<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-video\" data-allowfullscreen=\"true\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/facebook\/videos\/10157254148271729\/\" style=\"background-color: #fff; display: inline-block;\"><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Facebook is also testing a feature that provides more information about an article\u2019s author including Wikipedia entry, option to follow author\u2019s page or&nbsp;profile, and previous articles published.<\/p>\n<p>These changes come as a result of fake news stories from various media outlets and outside sources.<\/p>\n<p>Facebook research Team involved the Facebook community, academics, and industry partners. Together, they found that additional information about a news story helps users evaluate whether or not a source is trustworthy and can act accordingly.
