The demolition would clear the way for The Related Group\u2019s proposed 326-unit RD River City Brewery apartments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

River City\u2019s parent company, Maritime Concepts LLC, completed a $10 million deal on Aug. 2, 2021, with Miami-based real estate developer The Related Group to buy out the restaurant\u2019s leasehold with the city on the 3.34-acre property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The developer bought the remaining 76 years of a 99-year land lease with the city from Maritime Concepts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
