{"id":1457,"date":"2020-11-25T13:26:52","date_gmt":"2020-11-25T13:26:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tridence.com\/blog\/?p=1457"},"modified":"2020-11-25T13:27:47","modified_gmt":"2020-11-25T13:27:47","slug":"blessings-of-thanksgiving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tridence.com\/blog\/blessings-of-thanksgiving\/","title":{"rendered":"Blessings of Thanksgiving"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As we gather with family and friends or travel to \u201cgo home\u201d for Thanksgiving, I\u2019m well aware that not every home is a happy place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes it\u2019s hard to have faith, even for those who believe and trust Christ as Lord and Savior. Often, when our faith runs low, it's moments have a lot to do with our current life circumstances. These Circumstances do matter, as they often weaken our faith and beliefs within us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, Don't let it fill you with rage. \ud83d\udc47<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s where giving thanks can come in. The giving of thanks in itself is an act of trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As you go home or to a personal place this Thanksgiving, as you re-enter circumstances and situations that remind you of painful times, always remember to be <strong>thankful<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Giving thanks concedes that we are debtors to God (or faith belief) and that we depend upon Him.\u00a0Try saying something like the following: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>\u201cLord, even though I don\u2019t understand everything that\u2019s going on, I\u2019m going to give you thanks for your kindness, your mercies, and all the blessings I have received. Lord, I love you, and I entrust myself to you.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The Scriptures within our lives tell us to be thankful for all things. We\u2019re not meant to be grateful&nbsp;<em>for<\/em>&nbsp;all things, but <em>in<\/em>&nbsp;every circumstance, especially in hardship, we can and should be thankful for what we do have. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Giving thanks is an act of trust and, when repeated, is an act of spiritual nourishment that&nbsp;can shape our spiritual beliefs, heightened our awareness, and build our fait<\/strong>h. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone have a Blessed Thanksgiving and enjoy the moments that bind us all together as one unity of spiritual energies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As we gather with family and friends or travel to \u201cgo home\u201d for Thanksgiving, I\u2019m well aware that not every home is a happy place.
